About Gary
Gary Godsey - our dad - lost his battle with cancer on Tuesday, December 2, 2008, but lives on in our hearts.
Retired law enforcement officer and United States Army Vietnam veteran, always selfless and giving to a fault. He was and always be our rock and our hero, exhibiting character and integrity to live by.
Rigid in his ways yet gentle in spirit, he excelled at everything he set his mind to, both professionally and personally.
He shared his life with his two daughters, Lisa and Amy, and three sisters, Altal, Mary and Martha, and two grandsons, Anthony and Edward. He touched many other lives with his friendship - the world will be a better place because of him.
We respected his request to be creamted, and in lieu of a memorial service re requesting that donations be made in his memory to The American Cancer Society (see link below).
We celebrate his life, and all of the amazing memories he left with us.
